UFC veteran Henry Cejudo’s next fight is confirmed to be against Marlon Vera at UFC 292 in August, and the confirmation comes straight from Dana White himself.
The news was made public by Brett Okamoto of ESPN, to whom White confirmed about the rumored matchup. The three round bantamweight fight will take place on 19th August at the TD Garden in Boston- on the undercard headlined by the Bantamweight title fight between reigning champion Aljamain Sterling and top contender Sean O’Malley. The co-main event is featuring another title fight- between Women’s Strawweight champ Zhang Weili taking on Amanda Lemos.

“Triple C” came out of retirement with an aim to reclaim his 135-pound title and took on Sterling at UFC 288 back in May. However, the former double champ suffered a loss to
Funk Master” derailed Cejudo’s plan of regaining his former featherweight throne and instead, was rumored to be facing Vera.
