BRAVE Combat Federation has emerged as the leading global stage for Indian MMA fighters. The Bahrain-based organization, founded under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has consistently prioritized Indian athletes, offering them unmatched opportunities to shine on an international level. At BRAVE CF 92, 6 Indian Professional MMA fighters will clash against professional MMA fighters from their arch-rival, Pakistan.
Srikant Sekhar, Mohammad Farhad, Seth Rosario, Yadwinder Singh, Ehtesham Ansari, and Suchika Tariyal are signed to compete at BRAVE CF 92 taking place in Bahrain on 15 December 2024. Unlike other promotions, BRAVE CF actively invested in scouting and developing talent from India. It hosted its first-ever event in India with BRAVE CF 5 in Mumbai in 2017, marking the start of a long-term relationship with the country’s MMA community. This historic event showcased Indian fighters on a world stage, opening doors for them to compete globally.
Stars like Mohammad Farhad, one of India’s most accomplished MMA fighters, found global fame through BRAVE CF. Fighters such as Kantaraj Agasa and Angad Bisht also gained recognition for their performances in the BRAVE CF cage. The promotion has highlighted these athletes in marquee events, giving them a platform to build their careers and inspire a new generation of Indian fighters.
BRAVE CF’s commitment goes beyond just featuring Indian fighters. It collaborates with local organizations and gyms, creating pathways for young talent. The promotion also works closely with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) to support amateur MMA, ensuring that India’s rising stars get the training and exposure they need to succeed. The promotion has hinted at interest in expanding the Indian roaster following the outcome of BRAVE CF 92 opening doors for more athletes to sign with the global MMA promotion and compete in worldwide destinations carrying the Indian flag to foreign territory.
Through its global broadcast reach, BRAVE CF has elevated Indian fighters to international stardom. The promotion’s events are streamed worldwide, attracting fans and sponsors while growing the sport’s fan base in India. This exposure has been crucial in expanding opportunities for Indian fighters and solidifying BRAVE CF’s reputation as the top platform for them. The promotion also secured a massive partnership with OTT giant, JIO TV in India.
BRAVE CF is currently the only organization consistently showcasing Indian fighters on the biggest stage. Its efforts have elevated these athletes and inspired the growth of MMA in India, setting the standard for how international promotions should support regional talent. In 2024, the promotion based out of the Kingdom of Bahrain set a new milestone for MMA in India by signing the most number of Indian MMA athletes by any global MMA promotion.
