Ilia Topuria has become a household name in not only Spain but in most parts of the world after his 2nd round knockout against Alexander Volkanovski which made the Spaniard the featherweight champion.
Ilia Topuria’s craze has reached beyond imagination because parents have started to namesake their kids’ names after the UFC superstar. In a recent viral video, Topuria was seen interacting with the couple, who proudly showed off their kid’s name on the birth certificate. Ilia Topuria frolicked with the kid and made the moment even more special for the parents by landing a kiss on the forehead of the newborn baby.
Fans from all over the internet loved this little moment and rushed to Twitter to speak their minds.

Ilia Topuria has not only impressed fans with his performance at the UFC 298 but ex-UFC fighters too. Jorge Masvidal showered Ilia Topuria with praises after his victory over Volkanovski.
“First off, Volkanovski is one of the best, if not the best at 145 pounds for a long time. Volkanovski can do it all, he can wrestle, he can box, he can kick, he can submit you, he can do it all. That Ilia could come in there and do what he did is scary.”
He went on to add “You have to take a few steps back and see how young he is. He hasn’t gone through any wars, or had any physical damage. He’s fresh, he’s young, he’s brand new. He has a lot of talent, he has the looks, he speaks four languages… It makes me so proud that he won the belt.”
Ilia Topuria just have to continue to work hard and he will surely be a legend of the sport.
