We had earlier reported that Indian MMA star Bharat Kandare was forced to pull out from his UFC 227 fight due to an injury. Now, Bharat has come out with a statement.

While sharing our exclusive on him, Bharat noted that he will come back soon.

“Hi Friends, Small message from me. I was not able to fight at UFC 227 as I was injured. But I will come back soon. Don’t think that this is the end, it is just the beginning. Love You” he wrote.

Bharat had made his UFC debut back at UFC Shanghai and was scheduled to have his second fight at UFC 227. However, he suffered an ACL tear while training at Fight G in Singapore which forced him out. According to his manager Somesh Kamra, Bharat could be out for three to five months. As for the fans waiting to see Bharat back in the cage, we will have to wait a bit longer.
