Indian MMA fighter Himanshu Kaushik is set to be in the co-main event of ONE Championship’s upcoming show, ONE: Grit and Glory.
Kaushik, who holds a professional record of 4-1 to his name will be going up against the undefeated Thailand fighter Stefer Rahardian. Rahardian is currently 7-0 in his career and the Strawweight contest is scheduled to take place in three five minute rounds.
This will be the first fight of Kaushik in ONE Championship and he will be looking to come back strongly from his last fight where he suffered a defeat. He is also making his first appearance in more than a year.
The Delhi based Kaushik made his name fighting in the Super Fight League and also fought in Combat Cage Fight a couple of times. He will be looking to follow the footsteps of Rajinder Singh Meena who recently made history by being the first Indian fighter to win in ONE Championship. It would be interesting to see how Kaushik manages the move to Strawweight as he is usually seen fighting in the Bantamweight category.
As for Rahardian, he has four ONE championship fights under his belt already and recently defeated Muhammed Imran of Pakistan at ONE: Kings of Courage. Prior to this, he had also picked up wins against Sim Bunsrun, Eugene Toquero and Jerome S. Paye.

Leandro Ataides vs. Vitaly Bigdash is another major attraction on the card. Brazilian prospect Rafael Nunes will be facing veteran Kotetsu Boku in a Featherweight contest as well.
