Two of the most decorated names in Indian MMA, Manjit Kolekar and Priyanka Jeet Toshi are set to make their MMA return at the Kumite1 League event.

Indian MMA: Manjit Kolekar and Priyanka are set to return next month

The announcement was made by the promotion on their Facebook page. Priyanka was the first fighter announced for the event. The announcement about Manjit closely followed.

Both the fighters will be representing Team India at the event which is scheduled to take place on September 29th.

Both fighters returning from a hiatus

Manjit will be looking to make a strong comeback after being on the sidelines for a long time due to an injury. She currently holds an impressive record of 11-1 to her name. Her only loss came against Kaline Medeiros at Invicta Fighting Championship.

Priyanka, meanwhile, was on a hiatus of her own. Currently 3-3 in her career, she last stepped into the cage at One Championship: Unbreakable Warriors.

The addition of Manjit and Priyanka is bound to make matters more interesting for Kumite1 League. The promotion had already made headlines by roping in Mike Tyson.
