The Ultimate Beatdown Bantamweight championship fight between Manthan Rane and Pepito Masangkay ended in a majority decision win in favor of Manthan last day at Ultimate Beatdown 29.

Manthan Rane and Jitendra Khare both fought at Ultimate Beatdown

The event was held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia and the fight between Manthan and Pepito served as the main event. After a hard-fought three rounds, the judges ruled the fight as a majority decision in favor of Manthan under Ultimate Beatdown rules.

As Pepito had missed weight prior to the fight, Manthan was given a one round advantage heading into the fight. However, the fight no longer had the title on the line.

Both Pepito and Manthan were undefeated heading into the fight. An excellent arm-bar defence from Manthan was one of the biggest talking points from the fight. It would be interesting to see if the promotion will book a rematch for the title.

Elsewhere, Jitendra Khare also fought on the same card. The Team Relentless head coach was making his MMA debut at the event as well. Despite a solid effort, Jitendra was edged out by his opponent Phuong Hoal Nguyen via decision
