Two notable names in the Indian MMA scene and Team Relentless members Manthan Rane and Jitendra Khare are set to fight at Ultimate Beatdown 29.

Indian MMA: Jitendra Khare and Manthan Rane are set to fight in Malaysia next month

The event, which is scheduled to take place on August 4, 2018, will be held at Plaza Sentosa in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Jitendra, who is the head coach of Team Relentless will be making his MMA debut at the event. Jitendra has been documenting his journey to the fight via a video series called ‘Fight of My Life’ which he posts on his Facebook profile.

He will be fighting Phuong Nguyen of UFC Gym Vietnam in an 88kg catchweight bout.

Manthan, meanwhile, will be headlining the event in a Bantamweight contest.

Manthan will fight Pepito Masangkay of Iflex Spartam/Reps Alex Alves at the event. He is the reigning Yoddha Fighting Championship Bantamweight champion and will be looking to make a statement in the international scene by picking up a win as well.
