Indian MMA star Ritu Phogat secures sponsorship deal with PUMA

Ritu Phogat is the latest athlete to be sponsored by renowned sportswear company Puma, joining the ranks of elite athletes that include Indian cricket sensation Virat Kohli.

29-year-old Phogat, a former wrestler turned mixed martial arts competitor, fights in the ONE Championship’s atom weight class. In 2016, she also took home a gold medal from the Commonwealth Games in wrestling. And now that she has achieved a number of things in her career, she is hanging out with likes Virat Kohli with her latest signings with PUMA.

The 29-year-old used social media to inform her fans about the Puma partnership.

Details regarding Ritu Phogat’s agreement with Puma are unknown to us. But back in 2017, Virat Kohli, a fellow endorsee, signed a record-breaking contract with the company. The Indian cricket player reportedly agreed to a contract of over 100 crore rupees, or $12 million, for eight years.
