One of the top MMA teams in the nation, Team Relentless, will be competing in a few major tournaments outside India in the coming months.
The team will be stopping around in Singapore for the ADCC Singapore Open by Grapple Asia first and then will also compete in the prestigious Carlson Gracie International cup in Thailand later in March.
In between these two tournaments, the team will appear at the Dumau Jit Jitsu Championship as well. As of now, Jitendra Khare, Susovan Ghosh and Sunny Khatri are the fighters scheduled to compete at the events.
Three major stops in March for the team
The first stop will be at the ADCC Singapore Open Championship on March 10th. The event is scheduled to take place at the Aperia Mall.
The ADCC championship offers the winners medals and diplomas whereas the team that gets the most points wins a Best team Cup as well. The tournament also has a rich history of hospting huge names like Royler Gracie, Matt Hughes, Tito Ortiz, Ronaldo Souza among others.
On the next day, the Damau Championship organized by Grapple Asia will be held. The Carlson Gracie cup comes seven days later on 18th March, 2018 at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Organized by Carlson Gracie, this is the first time that the event is being held in Thailand. The tournament will be part of the third International Thai Martial Arts Games and Festival.
Team Relentless will be heading into these three tournaments on the back of their outing at the National Jiu-Jitsu championship which was held in Kochi last month.
The team had won a few medals in the competition and will be looking to carry forward the momentum when they head out of the nation to compete in the grappling tournaments.
