On being asked by the reporter about what he saw on Silva’s face during the faceoff, he said, “Nothing. He was cold. I think he’s like, I said“.
He added, “He was cold, just like me. I didn’t really care. I looked in his eyes. Glass. Same like me. I could feel my eyes were just glazed”.
Adesanya also said that he just wants to express himself authentically and doesn’t care about the fight result.
“When I bring my best and I give him all of me, no one can handle that. So, I just want to so that. I don’t care about the result. I’m gonna win but I just want to express myself authentically”.
Israel has an undefeated professional MMA record (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC). This fight is a big test for him as Anderson Silva is an experienced fighter with 43 professional MMA fights.
Dana White has said that the winner of this fight will get to fight for the middleweight title.
