Israel Adesanya, the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion has made a massive disclosure about his future in combat sports, hinting that he may potentially make a move into WWE.

I’m definitely going to jump in the WWE: Israel Adesanya

WWE, the top dog in professional wrestling and sports entertainment has seen crossovers with the UFC a number of times in the past. From the likes of CM Punk making his Octagon debut, to Brock Lesner coming in and becoming the UFC Heavyweight champion and on the other hand, Ronda Rousey becoming a full time WWE superstar after ending her UFC stint and now, Izzy seems to be the one next.

“The Last Stylebender” marked his fifth title defense against Jared Cannonier in the main event of UFC 276 last Saturday night. While the actual fight did not turn out to be that exciting for the fans, what stood out as the adrenaline-rushing moment from the night was Adesanya’s walkout, inspired by none other than The Undertaker.

Seeing the 185-pound champ approaching the Octagon holding the iconic urn and donning black wide brim hat, along with one of the most iconic tunes in sports entertainment playing in the background had set the MMA fandom into a frenzy and earned Adesanya massive appraisal, even from The Undertaker himself.

Following the event, BT Sport had asked Adesanya about his “Dead Man” inspired walkout, along with the fact that WWE icons such as Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Paul LeVesque aka Triple H were present at the T-Mobile Arena, Izzy hinted positively about making a future move to WWE.

“Definitely, that’s something I’ll try my hand at later on,” said Adesanya, “Just for fun. I’m not saying it’s going to be a full-time job, but I’m definitely going to jump in the WWE, or something along that line, just for the entertainment factor.” [H/T MMA Junkie]
