The hottest prospect in the Boxing World, Jake Paul has revealed that he is interested in participating in a boxing match against his idol Anderson Silva. Jake Paul has become a big star in the boxing world. He is one of the biggest fighters at the moment and many fighters and boxers are willing to box him. The most attractive thing about Jake Paul’s boxing match is the money he offers to his opponents. Many retired UFC fighters are looking to get that boxing match because of the paycheck. Now, Jake Paul has himself expressed his desire to fight former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva.

Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul fought KSI and his younger brother, Deji Olatunji, in a pair of amateur white-collar boxing matches. Jake defeated Deji via technical knockout in the fifth round. This was the start of his boxing career has he decided to turn pr after this fight.

In December of 2019, it was announced that Jake Paul would be making his professional boxing debut against the YouTuber AnEsonGib on January 30, 2020, in Miami. Jake won the fight via first-round TKO. He then went on to defeat Nate Robinson via a brutal second-round KO.

Jake then fought former UFC fighter Ben Askren and again won the fight via 1st round KO. Jake then fought back-to-back fights with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. He won the first fight via decision and won the rematch via sixth-round KO.

Now Jake has turned his attention toward another retired UFC fighter. But this time he might be boring more than he can chew, as Anderson Silva is a high-level striker and is already coming off a decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, former WBC world champion.

“Yes, definitely, I would love that fight. Interesting story, I think he was the first celebrity I ever saw. Right when MMA was blowing up, my dad was a super big fan and we went to this local MMA event and they must have paid Anderson Silva to come because it was in Ohio so I don’t know why he would have been there,” Paul said on The MMA Hour. “But I actually asked for his autograph and we took a picture with him. I’m maybe like 12 years old but I think he was the first celebrity that I met. So it would be fun to bring it back full circle and fight someone who was one of my first idols.”

Both Jake Paul and Anderson Silva are not scheduled to fight anyone at the moment so this fight does make sense.
