Boxing sensation Jake Paul took a shot at UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and said that Usman is past his fighting prime and if they both fight in the boxing ring it would be pretty easy work for Jake Paul. Kamaru Usman recently defended his title for the fifth time at UFC 268 against his arch-rival Colby Covington. The duo fought in a rematch after Usman had won their first meeting by TKO in the fifth round. Usman went on to win the second fight via unanimous decision. Jake Paul tho seemed unimpressed by Kamaru’s accomplishments.

Jake Paul is an interview talked about Usman. According to Paul, the UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is a good MMA fighter but he does not believe in Usman’s boxing skills. He also feels that Usman is too old to get into a boxing ring and face him. Jake Paul said that even if Usman does get in the ring with him it would be an easy win.

“I mean, he could barely beat up a 170-pounder. Took a lot of shots, man. He’s getting old, right? He’s 35 and I think that’s starting to show. I think he is out of his prime already. He’s light work,” Paul said to TMZ Sports. “You know, I respect Canelo and his boxing ability but as far as Kamaru Usman getting into the boxing ring, like I said, it’s light work. Look what I did to Tyron [Woodley], the five-time UFC champion. Kamaru is I don’t even know how many time UFC champion, I know Kamaru beat Woodley, but in boxing, completely different. I make light work of him like I said.”

Kamaru Usman and Jake Paul have previously engaged on Twitter. The duo went back and forth and had a trash-talking session against each other. Usman even hinted that he can change Jake Paul’s life in the worst way if they ever fight.

“I understand you think this is a game which is probably why you don’t realize that this is how people truly get hurt,” Usman wrote on Twitter. “I don’t play fighting and I can change your life in the worst way.”

Kamaru Usman is riding an amazing fifteen-fight winning streak and has already defended his welterweight title five times. Jake Paul on the other hand is 4-0 in the Pro boxing world. He is now scheduled to fight a professional boxer in Tommy Fury.
