Jake Paul to Khamzat Chimaev: ‘Shut up and pray you get paid fairly’

Youtuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul and UFC prospect Khamzat Chimaev recently went back and forth on Twitter after Khamzat said he can smash both Jake and Logan Paul on the same night in the boxing ring. Khamzat Chimaev has become one of the biggest prospects to come out of the UFC Fight Island series. He came in started setting unique records which included winning back-to-back UFC fights in just 10 days. Now after extending his UFC record to 4-0 and his pro record to 10-0, Khamzat has called out two of the current biggest stars in combat sports, Jake Paul and Logan Paul.

Khamzat Chimaev last fought at UFC 267 against Li Jingliang and defeated him in the very first round of the fight via rare naked choke. The fight was a dominant performance by Khamzat and after getting his fourth win in the UFC he put the entire division on notice that he is the next big thing in the UFC’s welterweight division.

Khamzat recently posted a tweet that suggested that he is looking to compete in the Boxing ring and that too against two of the biggest possible opponents he could get. He tweeted a post and called out the Paul Brother and also asserted that he can smash both of them in one night.

“I can smash this guys same night BOXING”

Chimaev also posted a picture of himself and Logan Paul who is seen standing slightly away from him and is looking at Khamzat.

“and they know about it!”

Jake Paul didn’t waste any time to reply to Khamzat. Jake Paul told Khamzat to sit down and compared him to other UFC fighters who tried to compete in boxing.

“Listen Kumquat… you are just another UFC fighter pretending you can box. Sit down, shut up and pray you get paid fairly.”

Jake Paul is 4-0 at the moment in a professional boxing scenario. He is coming off victories over two former MMA champions. He just defeated Tyron Woodley via decision. He also defeated former UFC fighter and former ONE champion Ben Askren. Recently it was announced on October 29, 2021, that Paul would be facing undefeated boxer Tommy Fury on December 18. The bout will take place at a catchweight of 192 lbs. The fight will be Jake Paul’s second consecutive bout to air live on Showtime PPV in the U.S.
