Famed celebrity boxer Jake Paul (8-1, 5 KOs) did not take much time to scoop up another victory in his return to the ring as he made quick work of Andre August (10-2-1, 5 KOs) with a blasting knockout in the first round this Saturday night in Orlando.
Right from the start, “The Problem Child” displayed lightness on his footwork, utilizing the space as he followed it up with a right hand cross at August’s body, but overshot the attempt as August rolled under the punch. The latter returned with a right hook that made a good connection.
However, as the fight seemed to gain pace, a surprising, out-of-nowhere right uppercut from Paul dropped August, who failed to beat the ref’s count, and the fight was over at the 2:32 minute mark of the first round, with Paul walking out of the ring with a knockout victory.
