The Boxing sensation Jake Paul has knocked out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the sixth round of their boxing rematch. Jake Paul fought Tyron Woodley in a boxing rematch after winning their first fight via decision. Jake was supposed to fight professional boxer Tommy Fury, but unfortunately, Fury pulled out of the fight due to an injury and Woodley decided to become the late replacement as he wanted to avenge his loss against Jake Paul. The Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley rematch took place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla.
The duo previously fought on August 29, 2021. Jake Paul won that fight by split decision. One judge scored the fight 77–75 for Woodley, while the other two judges scored it 77–75 and 78–74 in the favor of Jake Paul.
Jake Paul knocks Tyron Woodley out cold
The rematch between Jake and Tyron was competitive in the beginning as both the fighters had their moments. Jake was the busier fighter through the first round as he always is, he landed some good combinations but Woodley also had his shots. Though Woodley wasn’t able to land clean shots he managed to land the bigger ones.
At the being of the second round, a nice 1-2 combo from Woodley finds a home to the body and head. Paul after getting hit by strong shots was clinching Woodley to avoid more damage. Jake Paul got his head back and outnumbered Woodley in the second round too.
Woodley was a much busier fighter in their and fourth round and landed some heavy shots and got those two rounds in his bag. Though they were close round it was the power of Woodley and the impact of those shots which was seen clearly. But Jake Paul maintained his composure and stayed in the fight and was active with his jabs and uppercuts.
Jake got back in action as he landed some amazing combinations in the fifth round of the fight and got the momentum back to his side. Woodley got caught by many jabs and was clinching for most of that round.
The sixth round of the fight began with some clinching and missing shots. Jake picked up the pace and landed an amazing three-punch combo. He then set up an amazing straight right hand that landed flush on Woodley’s chin which sent him face-first on the mat and the fight was over. Jake Paul won the rematch via sixth-round knockout as he put Tyron Woodley to sleep.
