After a few hours, Tyson’s representatives swiftly assured everyone that he is “doing great” and on the road to recovery. Tyson’s representatives attributed the scare to an ulcer flare-up.
As per WebMd, Ulcers are painful sores that can develop in the lining of the stomach or the upper part of the small intestine. When they flare up, they cause discomfort, nausea, and dizziness. Imagine being on a plane, thousands of feet in the air, and suddenly feeling unwell—it’s a frightening experience for anyone.

The mega fight is set to happen on July 20. In the past months, a lot of people have questioned Tyson’s decision to take this fight at the age of 58. And this health scare gives them ammo to blast the organizers and the boxers for the matchup. However, Tyson is unfazed, and don’t care about the criticism.
In an interview, he talked about the fight: “He’s going to knock me out? Anderson Silva. He couldn’t even knock out the little guys, how’s he going to knock me out?” Tyson on Jake’s previous fights.
“He never knocked out a real man, come on. He didn’t knock out Tommy Fury. I’m going to f— Jake up.”
Despite Tyson’s health scare, we have not received any update on the status of the fight and it is very likely that the fight we go ahead as planned.
