Jake Paul, the controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer, has once again found himself in the crosshairs of fans after teasing a quick return to the ring following his recent victory over Ryan Bourland. Despite fighting just last night, Paul hinted at a potential bout scheduled for Friday, April 26th.
In his latest fight this 2nd of March in Puerto Rico, “The Problem Child” secured a first-round TKO victory against Bourland, extending his professional boxing record to 9-1 with six wins by knockout. Soon after his victory, Jake took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce his next bout- scheduled for 26th April.

Such a quick return to action would generally be appreciated among the combat sports fandom but with Jake already being criticised for his selection of opponents, fans wasted no time in mocking Paul’s announcement.
A fan asked, “Another cab driver?”
“Gonna fight a plumber this time?” added another.
Another fan jokingly wrote, “We fightin a doordasher now boys”
“This time you sorted through the instacart shopper resumes you got, right?!” a fan commented.
Another user asked, “Who’s this one? A bus driver this time maybe?”

Jake Paul’s next bout: Possible Ryan Garcia showdown?
Amidst the cab driver and plumber comments, there were some fans who speculated that the April 26th fight might show Jake Paul upping the difficulty and fight someone serious- like the popular lightweight boxer Ryan Garcia.

Ex-UFC Middleweight world champion Michael Bisping also recently blasted Jake Paul over his choice of opponents, and during a recent segment on YouTube, addressed him as “Fake Paul” while pointing fingers at the merit of the opponents Jake has been picking for his boxing matches.
