Jake Paul, the former YouTuber who has turned into a pro boxer with an undefeated five fight win streak, has agreed to square off against none other than Mike Tyson, and wants the fight to take place later this year.

“The Problem Child” has defeated the likes of former MMA champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley in his career and is 2-0 in his two-fight saga against Woodley. He was last seen in action in the rematch against the former UFC Welterweight champion back in December.

There have been numerous speculations regarding when Jake returns to action and who his next opponent will be and as it turns out, its likely to be the one and only Mike Tyson, the former Heavyweight world champion boxer who commented on the matchup during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“That could be very interesting,” said Tyson, “He [Jake Paul] is skilled enough and I will give it to him because he is winning. Even if he is fighting fighters that aren’t meant to be good enough, they should still be beating him but they can’t. He is beating people that he shouldn’t really be beating so you have to give him credit. He is doing good and he is doing things that are great for boxing.”

“This guy has 7 million people following him every time he fights. The champions of the world don’t have that many people following him so what he is doing for boxing is sensational. No one should be hating on him, what this kid is doing they should be following him. He is helping everybody get money so why are people mad at him?”

“Anything is possible but it has got to happen this year. It has got to happen this year,” the 55-year-old added. [H/T BJPenn.com]

Jake Paul verbally agrees to face Tyson this year

Soon afterward, Paul took to Twitter to give green light to face “Iron Mike”, as well as emphasizing on making the bout a possibility this year. “Thank you to the great Mike Tyson for the respect and opportunity. This year we are making it happen,” he tweeted.
