After a long time, Jake Paul has gone back to calling out the one he grudged out against repeatedly in the past, and that is none other than Conor McGregor, and wants to do a two fight deal with the UFC icon after he knocks out Nate Diaz in August.

I’mma knock Diaz out, do what Conor couldn’t do: Jake Paul

Paul, currently 6-1 as a pro boxer, is set to take on Diaz on 5th August in Dallas, Texas- in the latter’s debut in the squared circle. Confident on securing a KO on the Stockton superstar, Paul’s rise in boxing was ornamented with his repeated call outs of McGregor in the past, although a fight between them never materialized, as “The Notorious” never really reciprocated.

However, “The Problem Child” wants to re-ignite that grudge he holds against the Irishman once again, and wants to secure a two fight deal with McGregor- including a boxing match, and a mixed martial arts showdown in the PFL.

“(Diaz) wants to beat me, then go back to the UFC and fight Conor,” Paul told TMZ Sports. “I’mma knock him out, do what Conor couldn’t do, and then Conor’s gonna have no choice (but) to make the biggest fight in combat sports, which would be me versus him, as long as his boss and his dad lets him do it. So that’s what’s funny about it is he’s gonna have to get permission. But I’m my own boss, and I get to make my own decisions, and I would love to see that fight and make that fight happen.”

“Or we could do a two-part series. One boxing, one MMA in PFL. Make it happen, no problem,” Paul added. [H/T BJPenn.com]

All that being said, Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul may only materialize if Paul beats Diaz in August, and McGregor himself gets out of his UFC deal so he’s allowed to fight in PFL, which might be a questionable move as McGregor has said that he wants to remain with the UFC till the end of his career.
