Youtuber and Boxer, Jake Paul has lashed out on UFC President Dana White regarding the ongoing discussion going on between the UFC and fighters for their low pay scale.

Jake Paul is ready for another boxing showdown against an MMA fighter. Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will be facing Jake Paul in a boxing match. This will be the most skilled striker that Jake Paul will be facing in his boxing career who is 3-0 at the moment with a recent knockout win over Ben Askren. Tyron Woodley on the other hand is just released from his UFC contract after losing back-to-back fights. It will be a nice opportunity for him to make some money, as a win or lose fighting a celebrity definitely fills up your bank account.

Jake Paul talks about UFC’s Pay Scale

Constant disputes are going on between UFC and their fighters regarding low salaries. Even the best of the best fighters in the UFC are paid nowhere near what boxers make in their fights. The recent biggest topic was the Jon Jones controversy. Jon Jones wanted a big paycheck to fight Francis Ngannou for the heavyweight championship which could easily be one of the biggest fights in the history of UFC, but the promotion refused to pay him that and moved on with the next possible option for them.

Jake Paul has always raised his voice against the same issue speaks up again during his face-off against Tyron Woodley.

“There’s a movement, moving forward that is gonna show that fighters should be getting paid more,” Paul said in a video uploaded by former UFC fighter Jimi Manuwa. “It’s unfair. The UFC fighters don’t have fair pay. Out of all the sports, the percentage that the owners get versus the athlete, they’re the lowest. Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones, that fight should happen. Dana White, pay them the $10 million. He’s taking their money. They’re the ones making the content. They’re the ones getting in the ring, risking their life.”

Paul also talked about the injuries and health issues fighters have to face during their fight career including the recent leg break incident of Chris Weidman

“Chris Weidman goes in, snaps his leg in half,” Paul said. “What’s that look like? He might never be able to fight again and provide food for his family. These fighters are risking their lives. You can quite literally die in the ring and they need to be compensated more. I’m a big proponent of that movement and being in control. It’s just like music labels, same thing. These artists are getting owned and they get locked up into these s**tty contracts and they don’t know what to do.

“So f**k that sh*t. F**k Dana White.”
