Jan Blachowicz slams Sean Strickland over Ukraine comments

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz has blasted the UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland over his recent comments on the Russia and Ukraine war. Russia and Ukraine have been engaged in a war for the past week. Many combat sports stars from Ukraine have joined their armed forces and are together fighting for their nation against the Russian army. Now during the ongoing tough war-like situation, many UFC fighters are also taking the sides of the respective nations they want to support. UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland recently gave his thoughts on this Ukraine- Russia situation and now his comments got answered back by the former light0heavywieght champion Jan Blachowicz.

Sean Strickland is known for the weird statements that he usually makes and he gets criticized for them often. Now he recently got thrashed by Jan Blachowicz who didn’t seem happy after reading Strickland’s comments on Ukraine.

Ukraine should just bend the knee and become Russian… I understand it sucks and yes you could win….. but do you really want to be the new Afghanistan for the next 30 years??? Not saying it's right but this hard pill to swallow will be better in the end.

Sean Strickland has ranted a lot about this topic on this Twitter account and is receiving a huge backlash for his comments. Jan Blachowicz also decided to jump in and tried to make Sean aware of his comments.

Jan Blachowicz is coming off a title fight loss against Glover Teixeira. He lost his light-heavyweight title against Glover in the second round via submission. He was recently scheduled to fight Aleksander Rakic but Jan pulled out. On the other hand, Sean Strickland is coming off a decision win over Jack Hermansson.
