UFC middleweight Jared Cannonier has been quickly and steadily rising up the middleweight division’s rankings ever since his move down from the light heavyweight division in November last year. Cannonier recently finished Jack Hermansson in his last fight and revealed that he was admiring his work against Hermansson.
Cannonier defeated Hermansson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 160. He told noted combat sports journalist Luke Thomas on Sirius XM Radio that he is a cold-blooded killer who likes to admire his own work. Here’s what he had to say:
All of my movement in the octagon is intentional. I am a calculated cold-blooded killer. You know I go in there and I am not just trying to hit you. I am not just trying to hit you when you are covering up I am trying to put you away. I am going right in between your guard, I’m finding those shots, I am looking and I am sort of kind of admiring my work at the same time.
