At the co-main event of UFC 238, flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko scored a brutal head kick knockout victory over Jessica Eye to successfully defend her UFC title.
Now Jessica Eye has addressed her recent knockout loss and told her fans that she is OK. Going into this fight she was a massive underdog and rightly so as Valentina Shevchenko has had a dominant run inside the Octagon so far. Eye was down for over a minute and didn’t move and even while exiting the cage she was wobbling.
To my true supporters : thank you so much for all you do for me . I am ok and thank you for caring about me . I had a great camp and felt the best I have ever. I made some mistakes that cost me dearly. This fight game can be rough at times but it’s what I signed up for.
