Now Jessica Eye has addressed her recent knockout loss and told her fans that she is OK. Going into this fight she was a massive underdog and rightly so as Valentina Shevchenko has had a dominant run inside the Octagon so far. Eye was down for over a minute and didn’t move and even while exiting the cage she was wobbling.

“To my true supporters: thank you so much for all you do for me,” Eye posted on Twitter. “I am ok and thank you for caring about me. I had a great camp and felt the best I have ever. I made some mistakes that cost me dearly. This fight game can be rough at times but it’s what I signed up for.”

She also congratulated her opponent Valentina Shevchenko and said that she was thankful to share a cage with her.

“Congratulations @BulletValentina that was incredible head kick,” Eye wrote on Twitter. I am thankful for the chance to share the cage with you .”

Who do you think Valentina Shevchenko should defend her title against next?
