Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has been surprisingly removed from the Offical UFC rankings and according to the reports this action has been taken due to her inactivity in recent times. Former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk who is widely regarded as the best female strawweight fighter ever in the UFC has been removed from the latest UFC rankings. This action from UFC was pretty much surprising for everyone and many fans started speculating that she might have been released or retired from the MMA. In the last editions of UFC rankings, Joanna was the top strawweight contender and in her last fight, she fought for the strawweight championship.
To put all the rumors to the end, the latest reports suggested that she was removed from the rankings due to her recent inactivity in the UFC. Joanna was removed from both the UFC women’s strawweight rankings as well as the promotion’s pound-for-pound women’s rankings.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s next fight
Joanna is arguably the best strawweight in the UFC. She has the most title defenses in the division. Her only losses in the UFC are against fellow champions. She has lost to Rose, Zhang, and Valentina. In her last fight, she fought Zhang Weili for UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship on March 7, 2020, at UFC 248. She lost the fight via split decision. The fight is regarded as the best women’s fight in the history of the sport.
Joanna was recently targeted to face Marina Rodriguez who had called her out on several occasions but she is not interested in that fight and plans to wait for another title fight.
“I’m not interested. No, [I didn’t see Rodriguez’s fight],” Jedrzejczyk said. “I can’t tell much (laughs). Happy for her. I know Michelle Waterson, I love her. I like her so, so much. We fought each other but I like Michelle Waterson. She’s such a cool, nice human being. But you know, I’m happy for Rodriguez. She fought with one of the best and I’m just happy, wish her all the best. Maybe we’re gonna see each other, I don’t know. I’m not planning. I’m focused on my goals, my targets.”
Though Joanna Jedrzejczyk said no to that fight now it looks like she might have no options left other than to take this fight.
