Johan Ghazali, a flyweight Muay Thai fighter, has become one of the division’s most impressive athletes. And he wants to spend as much time there as he can. He changed teams to do that, and he is currently learning from Superbon, the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion.

In a flyweight Muay Thai bout against Diego Paez at ONE Fight Night 32 on Friday, June 6 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, “Jojo” hopes to get back to winning ways.

Since enrolling in Superbon Training Camp, Ghazali believes his skills have only become better. Every day, the Malaysian-American has been collaborating closely with the dazzling legend.

With five knockouts already in ONE, Ghazali’s firepower has pleased his trainers. But in order to go to the top of the division, he wants to get better all around.

“Superbon has been training me daily, he’s been holding pads for me. This is actually pretty shocking, so he’s been holding pads for me daily. I think he really wants me to win,” he said.

“So my hands have power. But Superbon tells me, ‘You have power, everybody knows. But you got to touch up everything else.’”

Johan Ghazali, a teenage flyweight Muay Thai sensation, feels that his skills are getting better every day at Superbon Training Camp.

The 18-year-old knows that pushing oneself to the limit is necessary to realize his full potential, so he has been doing just that.

And Ghazali is quick to remind himself why he relocated to the famous training center when he is feeling particularly unmotivated.

“I feel like I learn so much in one sparring session with Superbon, and Trainer Gae, he pushes me hard,” he said.

“Every day I can’t breathe, I’m so tired, but I’m not complaining. This is what I came here for. I’m learning fast, I’m improving, I’m progressing. Watch out.”
