The new Charlie’s Angels is one of very few action movies to have been written and directed by a woman, Elizabeth Banks. Its three heroines, played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, come from different ethnic backgrounds. The movie had all the ingredients to be groundbreakingly progressive, had it not met with some harsh reviews from the critics.

The movie has been criticized and trolled over the internet. Renowned MMA coach and founder and head coach of Irish MMA gym Straight Blast Gym John Kavanagh has also jumped on the bandwagon to poke fun at the Angels of Hollywood.

He took to Twitter and mocked a poster of the movie. He compared the position of the actress to that of a fighter who has just opened up for delivering a liver kick.

Who else looks at this and thinks blondies open for the liver kick?

Kavanagh is a renowned name in the mixed martial arts coaching fraternity. He move into mainstream highlight for being the coach of UFC’s first double champ and the biggest name in all of mixed martial arts, Conor McGregor.
