John Makdessi is a highly respected veteran of the UFC and of the sport of MMA as well. He has continuously been fighting in the UFC’s lightweight division for more than eight years now, thus, he recently stated that being a veteran he has no motivation for fighting newcomers and instead called out fellow UFC veterans Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller for his next fight.
Makdessi recently took to Twitter to express his wish of fighting lightweight veterans like Lauzon and Miller. He further stated that it would be an honour for him to test his skill against such experienced fighters. Below is his tweet:
I’ve been loyal to the @ufc, over 8 years now. I have no motivation fighting these new comers. I want name fights. To get me to title contention. To prove I’m one of the best Canadian fighters in the ufc. Would be a honour to test my will vs guys like @JimMiller_155 @JoeLauzon✊🏻
