UFC light heavyweight champion of the world Jon Jones last stepped inside the Octagon back in July at UFC 238 where he defeated Thiago Santos in a close fight. However, for months there were no opponents good enough for him.
But recently, Dominick Reyes has been the fan favourite to be the next opponent for Jones. The 29-year old is currently 12-0 inside the Octagon and is coming off of a KO win over former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman. He has also defeated the likes of Volkan Oezdemir and Jared Cannonier inside the Octagon.
Now it looks like Jon Jones wants Reyes to be his next opponent as he took to Twitter to announce that he is beating his[Reyes] a** next.
Just finished a coaches meeting studying Dominick and Cory‘s careers. Established Dominicks definitely the more dangerous fighter. Beating his ass next 🦁

“Just finished a coaches meeting studying Dominick and Cory‘s careers. Established Dominicks definitely the more dangerous fighter. Beating his ass next 🦁” Jones tweeted.
Another fighter who was considered as the top contender to face Jones was Corey Anderson, who is coming off of a brilliant first-round TKO win over Johnny Walker at UFC 244 last Sunday. However, Jones didn’t seem a tad bit interested in fighting him.
