The current UFC light heavyweight champion and one of the best pound for pound fighters not just today, but of all time as well, Jon Jones has been having a bit of a feud with the young up and coming UFC interim middleweight champion and former professional kickboxer Israel Adesanya. He has now made his feelings pretty clear by stating that he wants the UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker to win dominantly in his upcoming title unification bout against Adesanya.

Adesanya has been making waves in the UFC lately. In an interivew a couple of months ago, Adesanya had stated that he would someday love to move to light heavyweight and challenge and potentially beat Jones.

Jones in a recent interview on a talk show when asked about Whittaker, praised The Reaper and said that he is the ‘real deal’. He also said that he cannot wait for Whittaker to ‘stomp a mudhole in Adesanya’. Here’s what he had to say:

Real deal, I’ve got nothing but respect for him. He’s just like a stand-up guy. I can’t wait to see him stomp a mudhole in Adesanya.
