Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones has stated that his life story is far from being over and he is ready and motivated for his much-awaited heavyweight debut. Jon Jones and controversies have always been going hand in hand. In the September of 2021, Jones was included in the HALL OF FAME for his legendary fight against Alexander Gustafsson. But on the same night, he was arrested for having a physical fight with his fiancee. Jon was charged with misdemeanour battery domestic violence and felony tampering with a vehicle. Recently the court dropped all the charges on him.

Just a few days back the video of Jon Jones getting arrested was out. The video was of his arrest in September 2021. The Las Vegas Review Journal obtained police bodycam footage of Jones’ arrest where he headbutted a police car (at the 3:09 mark) and reportedly left a “medium-size dent” and chipped the paint. During the arrest, Jones is heard calling one of the officers a “nerd” and asking “A black man can’t drink?” as he accused the officers of racial profiling.

Jon Jones also revealed recently that his Fiance has left him.

“My fiancé left me about two months ago, today she finalized that she won’t be coming back,” the deleted tweet from Jones read, “If you are a Jon Jones hater, have a toast, I feel like shit.” [H/T MMAMania.com]

Now Jon Jones has replied to a person on Twitter who tried to take a shot at Jon Jones’s current situation.

“No way my guy, the story is far from over. I’m wise enough to know that we all go through seasons in life. I’ve had many great ones and several bad ones. I’m excited for the next one, about to be heavyweight champion of the world, capable of so many things, loved”

Jon Jones last fought in 2020 when he defeated Dominick Reyes and defended his lightweight title. Jon Jones was then got into a contract dispute with Dana White and decided to vacant his light-heavyweight title and move up to the heavyweight division.

He was expected to face the heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou but that fight never got materialized. Now Jones has proposed a fight against former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
