The current UFC light heavyweight champion and one of the best pound for pound fighters not just today, but of all time as well, Jon Jones has been having a bit of a feud with the young up and coming UFC interim middleweight champion and former professional kickboxer Israel Adesanya. Jones had recently revealed that he has a lot of mutual respect for the UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and that he will be rooting for the Australian in his fight against Adesanya.
Whittaker too had responded to Jones’ comment on Instagram. He said that he has nothing but respect for Jones. Jones further replied that he is just being real and further offered to train with Whittaker to get him even more prepared to fight Adesanya.
Here’s what Whittaker had replied:
Nothing but respect mate!
Below is how Jon Bones Jones further responded by offering to train Whittaker for his fight against Adesanya:
Just keeping it real. Would be honored to train with you leading up to your fight. Let’s get you more than ready!
