Two-time UFC welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal slammed his rumored opponent Leon Edwards as he declined to fight Masvidal and decided to wait for his title shot. Recently rumors surfaced that UFC is targeting a top contender’s welterweight matchup between Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards. The pair has quite a history between them as they had a huge backstage brawl between them during a UFC event where both of them fought on the same card. Jorge landed some good shots on Leon after he said some things to him backstage. Since then the duo has become fierce rivals of each other.
Now recently the news came out that the UFC is targeting a fight between Jorge and Leon. They both are the top contenders in the division. Jorge recently had got two back-to-back title fights but he eventually lost both of them against the champion Kamaru Usman.
Leon Edwards put an end to all the fight rumours by stating that he will be waiting for the title shit and has no interest in fighting Jorge.

Leon is coming off a brilliant performance against Nate Diaz in the first-ever non-title non-main event five-rounder fight which he won by decision. He is also riding an amazing winning streak and believes that the title fight is next for him.
Gamebred obliviously didn’t take that response from Leon well and decided to respond to him.

The reference Masvidal made was regarding the constant back and forth social media war between the fighters. They have taken a lot of shots against each other especially when Jorge was offered the title fight the second time after he lost to Usman by decision in his first title fight opportunity.
Though Masvidal might not get the chance to settle his beef with Edwards he might get a chance to avenge his loss against Wonderboy Thompson who accepted the challenge to fight Masvidal.
