A few days ago, Nate Diaz took to Social Media and posted a cryptic retirement post. It stated that he will be going out of the fight game.
Nate Diaz is coming off of a TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 last weekend. After the fight, he even said that he will be fighting Masvidal in a rematch again and even the new BMF champion seemed interested in fighting him again.
The social media post garnered interest amongst the MMA community. Even Jorge Masvidal gave his reaction to Nate Diaz’ potential retirement post. He also wished him the best in his retirement.
Heard it might be true. If so, it was fun sharing the cage with you. If you ever get that itch, I’ll be waiting. Until then, I’m gonna go get this paper #theresurrection pic.twitter.com/lILIZN7qpo

“Heard it might be true. If so, it was fun sharing the cage with you. If you ever get that itch, I’ll be waiting. Until then, I’m gonna go get this paper #theresurrection,” Masvidal tweeted.
Nate Diaz came from a three-year hiatus in August earlier this year at UFC 241 where he defeated the former lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis, via unanimous decision. Before that, he fought in a rematch against Conor McGregor at UFC 202, where he lost via split decision.
On the other hand, Masvidal is ending 2019 on a very high note. He knocked out Darren Till at UFC London and then defeated Ben Askren via a five-second KO and then winning the BMF title with Dwyane Johnson wrapping the belt around his waist.
