Joseph Lasiri might not have been able to defeat Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the cage, but the former did turn the tables when it came to the arm wrestling table.
Arm wrestling has become the fastest rising strength sport in the world right now, with the number of followers growing in millions. The sport has kindled interest in other areas as well, as seen in the case of Muay Thai icons Joseph Lasiri and Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Lasiri, the reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion, went down against ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Jitmuangnon at ONE on Prime Video 4 co-main event last weekend at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Jitmuangnon won the contest via unanimous decision (50–43, 50–43, 50–43). However, after their battle in the cage ended, the two were spotted backstage in the dressing room, gleefully engaging in an arm-wrestling contest.
WHile “El Huracán” was unsuccessful against “The Iron Man” in the fight, it seems that he was able to beat Jitmuangnon in this contest. It was a nice moment that showed the respect and appreciation they have for each other.
