In a night that was full of stoppages, Josh Emmett’s late third round knockout of Michael Johnson still stood out from the rest. However, Emmett is dissatisfied for not receiving the performance of the night bonus.
Johnson led the dance between the two fighters for the entire first two rounds of the fight. Being down on the judges scorecards, Emmett had to pull off a desperate Hail Mary to win the fight. And that was exactly what Josh did.
With only 60 seconds left Emmett floored Johnson with a vicious one punch knockout. The US featherweight needed something big and delivered in spades, knocking Johnson out on his feet.
However, what Emmett really wanted after the fight was a post win bonus, something which has eluded him so long in the UFC.
Wow, No Bonus again! #UFCPhiladelpha

Emmett is back in the win column after a brutal knockout loss to Jeremy Stephens left him with multiple facial injuries. Johnson drops to 1-2 since dropping from the lightweight division to featherweight.
