UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and former two-division champion Conor McGregor have been exchanging words on the internet.
Recently Conor Mcgregor has been very much active on social media and has been taking shots at his fellow UFC fighters. In his recent tweeting spree, he talked about going up to the welterweight division and defeating champion Kamaru Usman to win the belt. This tweet didn’t sit well with the champion who decided to reply back.
Tremendous! I love this record! I fight for the 170lb title I will spark him too.
That would be fastest ko in ufc title fight (13 seconds)
Most knockdowns in ufc title fight (5)
And then another KO in a ufc title fight.
3 title fights. 3 ko’s. 3 new records.
It’s right there! https://t.co/80iI59klPN— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) August 16, 2021

Conor Mcgregor last fought against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The fight was won by Dustin Poirier via TKO as the doctor waved off the fight. Conor broke his ankle by the end of the first round. The injury was caused even before the fight, during his training for the fight. Conor later went through surgery and said that he will be back in the octagon soon.
“2022. I’m improving rapidly! Working with the best team money can buy! I’ll be back in no time, lock loaded!”
“Possibly. The leg tho will be more than equipped to kick. I am billi walking straight to a title shot on my return and it sickens the bums of this business. Which is the real reason these constant disrespectful comments come by way. God bless them.”
Conor Mcgregor has also been engaging with Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz. The return fight of Conor is not yet planned or neither is there an ideal fight for him apart from the Nate Diaz trilogy. Nate Diaz has also lost his last few fights and is on a losing streak. Conor Mcgregor will soon be recovering from his injury as he has already been actively training in the gym. Conor has revealed on Twitter that he wants to be back in the UFC in 2022 and is also chasing the title shot.
