Kamaru Usman displayed a dominant performance over Rafael Dos Anjos to beat him via a unanimous decision in the welterweight main event of The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale on Friday at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Kamaru Usman won the fight with his high wrestling ability, his top of the line conditioning. He kept Dos Anjos at bay with his crisp jabs and threw numerous takedowns. He spent the majority of the fight on top position and he successfully kept himself away from Dos Anjos submission attempts throughout the fight, but he was also able to score points with his ground and pound.
The judges scored the fight 50-43, 49-45, and 48-47 in favour of the “The Nigerian Nightmare”. Kamaru Usman becomes the 6th fighter in history to start 9-0 in the UFC. He now joins Anderson Silva, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Royce Gracie, Chris Weidman and Junior Dos Santos.

He has been undefeated since winning TUF 21 back in July 2015.
“I’m a man on a mission. I got into this sport and I made a statement,” Usman said. “I’m coming for that welterweight strap and tonight I hope I took a step closer towards that.”
With him wanting a shot at Tyron Woodley, he has made his intentions clear.
Do you think Kamaru Usman gets a shot at Tyron Woodley over Colby Covington?
