Kamaru Usman, the reigning UFC Welterweight World Champion, has achieved numerous feats inside the cage. However this time, the Nigerian’s latest attainment takes place outside the Octagon, as Usman has just landed a role in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie.
Kamaru Usman’s role in the sequel is yet to be known
The news was first made public by former UFC two division champ and commentator Daniel Cormier, who revealed that Usman will have a guest role in the movie, and it was later confirmed by MMA Fighting. However, there is no development yet on which character the UFC’s No 1 P4P fighter will play in the movie.

Released in 2018, Black Panther is the 18th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and has been one of the most successful movies in the franchise and has gained a cult following over the past four years. The sequel is set to release on 11th November this year.
In the wake of the tragic death of lead actor Chadwick Boseman in 2020, director Ryan Coogler decided to continue telling the story of Wakanda. The first trailer was unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con last weekend, which was a heartfelt moment for the cast and crew, as the footage paid tribute to Boseman.
“Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride, his culture, and the impact that he had made on this industry will be felt forever,” said Coogler on stage, “We put our love for Chadwick into this film.” [H/T MMA Fighting]
