UFC 244 featured an interesting co-main event as #2 ranked middleweight and former interim title challenger Kelvin Gastelum will welcome former welterweight title challenger Darren ‘The Gorilla’ Till to middleweight.
Keeping in mind the individual personalities of these two gentlemen, the fight was expected to be a slugfest. However on a stylistic note, the fight was turned out a bit uneventful but a highly technical one with Till edging Gastelum via a razor thin split decision.
With Till coming of a brutal knockout loss, kept things a bit more sensible. Gastelum on the other hand, was finding it difficult to cope with the physicality of Till with him weighing comfortably around 210 pounds. A classy Gastelum took to Twitter to address his loss. (via Twitter):

He also added the following written statement:
