UFC Middleweight Kevin Holland has recently caught an alleged car thief and handed him over to the local police. He did this thing just a day after his fight at UFC Vegas 38. In his last fight, he fought Kyle Daukaus on October 2, 2021, at UFC Fight Night 193. A clash of heads early into the fight knocked Holland unconscious briefly, but he continued to fight and was eventually submitted by Daukaus via a standing rear-naked choke. The referee then overturned the decision into a no-contest as the clash of heads was the major reason for Kevin to lose the momentum of the fight.
“Coach, are you up?” Holland asked.
“Yeah, I’m up,” Dorsey replied. “What’s going on?”
“I’m chasing a bad guy and I’m right near your house,” Holland said. “Yeah, somebody just stole a car and I’m following them.”
Dorsey who’s Kevin’s coach pulled the phone away for a second and listened to the situation around him.
“I could hear the cars turning corners,” Dorsey told MMA Junkie approximately one hour after the incident occurred Monday. “I asked him what streets he was on. He started telling me the streets. We joked that he was like a real cop, with us coordinating while he’s driving.”
Kevin’s coach then went out to find Kevin and then located him with the thief and recorded the incident on his Instagram stories.

“He’s running the guy down and trips him,” Dorsey said. “He wrapped him up and held him until the cops get there.”
“(Holland) didn’t get taken down, but he got a takedown,” Dorsey joked.
“He always does (things like this),” Dorsey said. “People only see certain things. People only see what’s put in the media. There’s been several instances where he’s helped people out. It’s nothing new to me. If he sees somebody in a bad situation, he’s going to render it.”
This is one of the most amazing things that the MMA community got to see in recent times. Kevin Holland who is himself coming off a brutal scenario in his last fight just a day ago decided to put his life in danger to stop a car thief.
Kevin is now recovering from the damage he took in that fight. He also asked for an immediate rematch but hasn’t heard anything back from the UFC.
