With the possibility of Max Holloway moving up to the Lightweight division lurking around the corner, Kevin Lee seems to be making his move.
Lee, who is set to fight former Lightweight contender Al Iaquinta, had earlier mentioned that Holloway should not get the Lightweight title shot. He argued that there are fighters who have been working for the title for so long and shot down the idea of Holloway cutting the line.
And now, Lee has come out with another message for Holloway. In a recent interview, Lee noted that he is ‘too big and too strong’ for Holloway in the Lightweight division.

Lee is coming off a win against Edson Barboza and will be looking to get back into the Lightweight championship mix with a win over Al Iaquinta. Iaquinta, meanwhile, gave Khabib Nurmagomedov a hard time in his last time. He is also within touching distance of a title shot and the fight against Lee will be crucial for him as well.
