UFC Lightweight fighter Kevin Lee is finally back after a one-year lay-off and he will be fighting Sean Brady in the welterweight division at UFC 264 on July 10.
Kevin Lee was a former Interim lightweight title challenger who took a long one-year lay-off after dealing with several injuries but now as he is recovered he is back to fighting. He has also decided to move up a weight class for his comeback fight and also has plans to stick to the welterweight division as he feels more comfortable at this weight class.
UFC has assigned him with a tough challenger for his come-back fight. He will be facing the undefeated welterweight prospect Sean Brady at UFC 264 which will take place on July 10. The event is huge as it will be headlined by the trilogy fight between Conor Mcgregor and Dustin Poirier who are 1-1 in their series of fights.
Kevin Lee wants to get back to the win column
Kevin Lee went from fighting for the interim title to losing consecutive matches. His last win came against Gregor Gillespie by a vicious head-kick knockout at UFC 244. His last UFC fight was against current Lightweight champion Charles Oliveira who submitted Lee in the third round.
His fight at UFC 264 isn’t his first match at welterweight. He fought Rafael Dos Anjos in a back and forth battle which he lost via submission. It will be interesting to see how he comes up after a one-year gap.
I’m moving to 170lbs for the foreseeable future. Oliveira can have the lightweights we’ll get that back later

His opponent Sean Brady is yet to taste defeat in his fighting career. He is regarded as one of the best new prospects in UFC and has lots of hype behind him.
