After McGregor, Khabib has his eyes set on Floyd Mayweather

The UFC Lightweight champion had earlier challenged Mayweather for a match through the Instagram page of Mayweather CEO Leonard Ellerbe. You can see the video below.

And now, Mayweather has come out with a positive response. In typical fashion, Mayweather has asked everyone to get their chequebook out. The tweet from Mayweather can be seen below.

“CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand get the checkbook out!” Mayweather noted.

Interestingly, both parties have not gone deep into the rules and regulations of the potential fight. However, the Russian has put forward one condition. In his latest post on Instagram, Khabib noted that the fight cannot happen in Vegas as he is yet to be paid for his fight with McGregor at UFC 229.

With the win over McGregor, Nurmagomedov had improved his professional record to 27-0 and remained unbeaten. Meanwhile, Mayweather is yet to taste defeat as well. He holds a professional record of 50-0 in boxing and his last win came against none other than Conor McGregor.
