Playing a big hand in Khabib’s illustrious carrer is the team he trains with – American Kickboxing Academy. Boasting of multiple champs, AKA is the home of UFC’s current only double champ Daniel Cormier, former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold along with many others.

Khabib recently took to Instagram posting pictures of him training along with his teammates. The post was a reminder to everyone about the ever known fact regarding how good Khabib is on the ground, as the post shows him grappling with the likes of Luke Rockhold, among others.

Khabib is just 4 weeks away from facing his arch nemesis Conor Mcgreggor inside the Octagon. The event will be UFC’s penultimate one to take place in Las Vegas this year. Conor Mcgreggor will make his much awaited return to the Octagon after an almost 2 year long break from the sport.

The professional rivalry between the two took a very peronal turn back in April when Khabib along with his men cornered Conor’s long time friend Artem Lobov. Mcgregor retaliated with full fury in what went down as the bus attacks prior to UFC 223 in Brooklyn, NY.

Ever since the UFC has officially announced the fight, none of the two have been holding the trash talking back by even a bit. However, the fans await the press conference for the event, something that is guaranteed to contain fireworks given that Conor is in it.
