Khabib Nurmagomedov (27-0) successfully defended his UFC lightweight championship against Conor McGregor (21-4) via fourth-round submission in the main event of UFC 229 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Eagle after his submission win, jumped through the cage and launching himself into the crowd. His intended target was Dillon Danis.
Danis sprung back and started to wade into Nurmagomedov. He connected with a couple of blows and Khabib has forced back himself before being pulled from the scene.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission was quick to take necessary action. The commission is withholding Nurmagomedov’s $2 million fight purse. However, Conor McGregor got paid his $3 Million after the commission reviewed footage of the incident, executive director Bob Bennett released McGregor’s money.
“The Nevada State Athletic Commission pulled footage from us. There’s an ongoing investigation,” White said at the UFC 229 Post-Fight Press Conference. “They’re withholding Khabib’s purse. They did not hold Conor’s purse, but they’re holding Khabib’s.”
Dana White said three members of Nurmagomedov’s team involved in the incident were arrested and released late Saturday night. White said McGregor told him that he would not press charges.
Meanwhile, Conor McGregor tweeted out that he wants to have a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
