If you thought Khabib Nurmagomedov was going to hang up his gloves soon, think again. The UFC Lightweight champion has ruled out the chances of an early retirement.

Nurmagomedov revealed the same during a press conference in Russia last day and said that he can still go on.
“To me, every fight is the last fight. I feel that in every fight, and then they start calling you and you start getting ready. I have been thinking about it, I’m 30. Life goes on and I don’t want to be beaten. You have to live when you’re on top, and it’s not just me saying this. It’s always been like this. When you’re at your peak, you can never get back to your top form. But for right now, I’m okay. I can go on,” he said. (via MMA Nytt)
Nurmagomedov’s last fight in the UFC came against Conor McGregor at UFC 229. Although the Russian managed to get a victory over McGregor, the post-fight brawl made all the headlines. He is expected to receive his punishment for this brawl from Nevada State Athletic Commission on December 10.
Now that Khabib is not going anywhere, which all opponents should he fight? Let us know in the comments below.
