UFC 229 will host probably the biggest fight in the history of MMA as the former featherweight and lightweight champion ‘The Notorious’ McGregor takes on current UFC lightweight champ Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov. The super fight is just a week away and this fight has got people hyped all around the world.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor is just days away

Khabib Nurmagomedov appeared on The Ariel Helwani show a few minutes back and spoke his mind and bashed McGregor and the UFC. He said this fight is personal to him.

“This is more personal for me. I’m going to make this guy (Conor) pay. I’m not underestimating him but this is more than defending the title for me”.

During the first press conference, Conor McGregor not only lashed out at Khabib but also on his manager Ali Abdelaziz and called him a ‘terrorist snitch’.

“If he (McGregor) has problems with my manager talk with him. I don’t have problems with his family. I have problems with him. He tried to get into my head. I felt nothing This Saturday, I’m going to maul him”

Khabib Nurmagomedov also believes that the UFC wants Conor McGregor to win and he also asked Dana White to stop kissing his ass.

“Of course. They can make a lot of money with him. Why wouldn’t they want him to win”.

It’s only natural that UFC is banking on McGregor to pull a victory this Saturday considering he is the biggest star in all of the combat sports and it will only lead to UFC making more money off him.

However, his UFC bashing didn’t stop there as he further ventured an interesting theory regarding the fiasco at UFC 223. Nurmagomedov revealed that before McGregor showed up with his posse and threw a dolly at the bus, the UFC had asked him to attend the press day all alone – which was something completely out of left field.

Helwani followed up with the question if he felt that the UFC was looking to set him up for a confrontation with McGregor to which Nurmagomedov replied that he didn’t know.

However, there were certainly undertones of accusation that shone through.
