UFC newcomer Khamzat Chimaev has put the entire welterweight division in just ten-days of his arrival. The Dagestani fighter based in Sweden made his debut at UFC on ESPN 13 against John Phillips and battered him into submission in the second round.

His last fight came 10-days later into his UFC debut against Rhys McKee at UFC on ESPN 14 and he battered the Irish newcomer and knocked him out in the first round.

Now the 26-year old Dagestani has called out former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor to a fight.

He took to twitter and called the Irishmen a ‘Tab machine king chicken heart’ and tagged UFC president Dana White to make that fight happen.

@TheNotoriousMMA Tab machine king chicken heart @danawhite i’m hungry give me Give me dessert,” Khamzat Chimaev said on twitter.

Chimaev previously fought at Bahranian promotion BRAVE CF and made a name for himself by going 4-0. He has a professional record of 8-0 and all of his wins have come via stoppages inside two-rounds.

I want to do more,” Khamzat Chimaev said following his win over Rhys McKee in Abu Dhabi. “It was too easy for me. … I didn’t feel like I [fought], it was one second. But I need this. I want to fight.”

Fighting is fighting. I do sparring every day. This is like sparring for me. History is history, what can I say?

Khamzat Chimaev is ready for the title

While Khamzat Chimaev might only be 2-0 in the UFC, he isn’t shy of letting his intentions known and in the post-fight interview he said that he is ready to take on current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

It doesn’t matter,” Chimaev said. “I can smash everybody. How many fighters in the welterweight division? I can smash all of them.”

Kamaru Usman successfully defended his title against Jorge Masvidal earlier this month at UFC 251.

Will Conor McGregor return?

Last month former two-division world champion Conor McGregor announced his retirement from the sport for the third time on social media.

The move came after Conor McGregor knocked out Donald Cerrone in just 40-seconds ending his fifteen-month layoff. McGregor had told following his UFC 246 win in January that he was going to fight three times in 2020.

He wanted to return to the Octagon in July. However, his retirement has put everything on hold. He wanted to fight Justin Gaethje, who instead went to fight Tony Ferguson on a short-notice replacement. Gaethje knocked out Ferguson in the fifth round at UFC 249.
